This monument in Zeist commemorates the 153 Jewish inhabitants of the city that died in World War II. Their names are engraved on columns made of granite and shaped like a doorpost without a door, to reflect on the lost residents who have not returned. At the top is written: ‘Not again | Nevermore’, and on the other side, ‘Persecution of Jews and Holocaust, remembering the victims. Zeist 1940-1945 ‘.
