6 and 7 June 1943 at least 1296 children were deported to the concentration camp Sobibor in Poland. At the time, it was said that the children, ranging in age from just a few days to 17 years old, were being taken to a ‘children’s camp’ because Kamp Vught was too full. This exhibition marked the 68^th anniversary of this occasion, and so, for the first time, gave attention  to this terrible event in the history of the SS concentration camp.
