Meijer de Haan (1852-1895)
Despite being a good friend of Theo van Gogh (the younger brother of Vincent) and working closely with Paul Gauguin, de Haan remained relatively unknown for the general public. The aim of this exhibition was to change this state of affairs. The exhibition was organised first in Musée d'Orsay in Paris and then in Musée des Beaux Arts in Quimper, Brittany, under the title 'Le maître caché, Meijer de Haan'. We also designed the English- and French-language catalogues.
